About PNG to PDF
PNG to PDF is a free extension for Google Chrome that combines PNG, JPG and HEIC images into one PDF. It opens in the Chrome side panel, beside the page you are working on, so you can add photos, arrange them, convert and download without switching to another site or app.
What the extension does
- Adds PNG, JPG and HEIC images, including photos taken on an iPhone.
- Lets you arrange the images before converting.
- Saves one combined PDF, or a ZIP archive with separate files.
- Processes the files in the extension itself, on your computer.
It is made for Chrome on a computer. It does not recognize text (OCR), edit PDFs, compress to a target size or add passwords. For those jobs a full PDF editor is the better choice.
Who we are
PNG to PDF is built and maintained by the PNG to PDF team. The same team runs this website and answers support email at [email protected].
How we write the guides
The blog explains how to turn images into PDFs with any method, not only with our extension: the print-to-PDF features of Windows, macOS and Chrome, Word and Google Docs, online converters and command-line tools. We follow these rules:
- Steps for other products follow their official documentation, and we link to it.
- When an article reports a test, it names the tool, its version and the date of the test.
- When something is not published by a tool's maker, we say so and show how to check it on your own file.
- Where our extension is one of the options, we name its limits as well as what it does.
If you find a mistake in a guide, write to us and we will correct it.
